Synopsis

Tania, a radiant young hairdresser with a quiet life, sees her world turned upside down after the birth of her first child. Struggling to form the slightest bond with her daughter, she has no choice but to reconnect with her mother, Christine—a woman she hasn’t seen since birth.

What begins as a simple quest for identity soon turns into a police investigation, where each revelation draws them closer to danger. Christine, a former foster child scarred by years in an orphanage, discovers that some truths are better left buried.

Inspired by true events, PLACÉE is a gripping mini-series with powerful emotional depth, shining a light on a forgotten scandal of history: the fate of fostered children.
