Synopsis

Belgium, 1990. Patrick Haemers, public enemy number one, is on trial. After several jurors withdraw, the trial is postponed, sparking a media frenzy. At the same time, Haemers—known for his violent robberies and the kidnapping of the Belgian prime minister—faces a different kind of reckoning. His mother, Liliane, visits him in prison, hoping for answers, regret, and maybe even repentance.
